Violin Johann Gottfried Hamm Markneukirchen, 18th cent, with IGH brand stamp and repair label Mayerrosch Falkenstein im Vogtland 1889, Hamm was a master in Markneukirchen from 1764, split, delicately flamed back in maroon varnish, three-part surrounding purfling, strongly arched top with solidified cracks, professionally restored, well-kept, ready-to-play condition, in case, l body 35.9 cm.

Bemmel, attr., Winter Landscape Snow-covered houses by a river in a mountainous landscape in the light of dusk, glazed, partially slightly impastoed painting, oil on panel, probably 18th century, unsigned, labelled on the reverse "Galerie Neuhäusler ... Buch" as well as several unchecked modern attributions "Georg Christoph Gottlieb v. Bemmel", meaning either Georg Christoph Gottlieb von Bemmel the Elder (1738-1794) or Georg Christoph Gottlieb von Bemmel the Younger (1765-1811), traces of age, somewhat in need of restoration, modern framing, rebate dimensions approx. 24.5 x 38.5 cm.
