Mario Buccellati - Devotional silver altarpiece 800 Italy, first half of the 20th century 20 x 8 cm The fine artifact created for personal devotion depicts a detail of Andrea Del Sarto's Madonna of the Harpies, preserved at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, masterfully engraved by master goldsmith Mario Buccellati inspired by Renaissance splendor. It bears the inscription "Engraved in the workshop of Mario Buccellati."
