Modern gold ring with carnelian gem. Modern ring, Roman gem, 1st - 2nd century A.D. 22.22 g, ring size 57. Ring by Corrado Sacchi, Rome, 2019 (hallmark on the outside of the ring band). Gem of red carnelian with standing Mercury with winged caduceus and purse. This motif is repeated as an impression of the gem in gold at the other end of the ring band. Gold! Intact.
