A LOUIS XV ORMOLU MOUNTED TULIPWOOD AND KINGWOOD MARQUETRY COMMODE by Francois Antoine Mondon, Paris, ca. 1760 86 x 127 x 62 The later moulded and pink mottled marble top above a pair of drawers sans travers, inlaid with a central cartouche on square tapering cabriole legs ending in foliate cast sabots. Stamped "FA MONDON" and "JME". Rest. Additions, damages due to age. François-Antoine Mondon (1694-1770), maître in 1757.
