Six spice bowls with the monogram of Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria Vienna, K. & K. Hoflieferant J.C. Klinkosch, late 19th century D. 11 cm Bellied vessels on 3 paw feet. Silver, gilded inside. Engraved monogram "FJ1" under the imperial crown on the body. Viennese Diana head mark, master's mark J.C.K. and double head eagle. Weight ca. 1195g. Slight signs of use. Franz Joseph I (1830-1916) of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine was Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary and Bohemia from 1848 to 1916. From 1854 he was married to the Wittelsbach Elisabeth (known as Sissi).
