A LARGE STUCCO HEAD OF BUDDHA, 17TH CENTURY Thailand, 17th century or earlier. The face with a serene expression, with downcast eyes below gently arched eyebrows, and lips forming a subtle smile, flanked by two large ears, the hair in tight curls. Condition: Commensurate with age, nicks, scratches, cracks, losses, signs of weathering and erosion. With remnants of black pigments. Provenance: Austrian private collection.
