A LONGQUAN CELADON-GLAZED ‘FLORAL’ TRIPOD CENSER, LATE MING TO EARLY QING DYNASTY China, 17th-18th century. Of cylindrical form, supported on three short bracket feet and carved along the exterior with flowerheads borne on leafy scrolling vines. The exterior is covered in a celadon glaze which pools in the recesses and thins at the edges. Provenance: English trade. Condition: Very good condition with wear, traces of use, and firing flaws including a single bubble to the rim.
