AN OPAQUE TURQUOISE GLASS BOTTLE VASE, DAOGUANG MARK AND PERIOD

AN OPAQUE TURQUOISE GLASS BOTTLE VASE, DAOGUANG MARK AND PERIOD China, ca. 1820-1920. The octagonal facets finely cut, supported on a slightly flaring foot rising to its bulbous base surmounted by an elegant neck with a flat rim. The glass is of a fine turquoise hue with some sea-foam green inclusions. Incised four-character Daoguang reign mark at the base, and of the period. Provenance: Viennese private collection, acquired in the French antiques market. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, manufacturing irregularities, and few microscopic nicks to edges.
