BELUSH carpet (Iran), 2nd third of the 20th century Dimensions: 156 x 80cm. Technical features : Wool velvet on cotton backing. The field of this carpet is covered by a jagged honeycomb latticework, decorated with entomically-shaped, vegetated diamond-shaped boxes. At each end are two reserves with crenellated, fire-colored pyramidal shapes. Cherry and wine-red borders with "S" series, serrations and hourglasses. Jagged highlights. Beautiful ethnicity. (Minor wear).
