Abbas Gharib is an Italian artist, architect and designer with Iranian origins. In the pair of black and white photographs, Gharib portrays a snowy mountain landscape, offering to the viewers not only the natural beauty of the scenes, but also the stillness of the moment. The muffled whiteness of the snow contrasts with the dark spots of the trees, while the greyness of the streets enhances the perfection of the lines and curves. Signed and dated at the back.
