Miniature of a young man with a high stand-up collar and fine facial features set into the lid. Inscribed and dated on the right edge. 'Sachaisnés 1834' on the right edge. Painted on cardboard, behind glass in small metal frame. Miniature sits loosely in the holder of the lid, tortoiseshell inlays inside bent once, thus the lid does not close completely, traces of age and use. Dimensions 12.3 x 8.6 x 2.8 cm. [Ac]
