Kueczynska, Dimensions: 71.5 x 67 cm, frame 75 x 80.5 cm, Condition: good, upper left and margins with loss of color, Comment: Ilka von Kuczynaska-Fessler was a Polish-born painter of the Vienna Secession. There are some ambiguities in her biography, but it is certain that she exhibited her works in the Austrian Artists' Association from 1924. She also showed her works in 1930 in the exhibition '200 Years of Women's Art in Austria'. Her oeuvre mainly comprises flower paintings and still lifes, so that the work offered here represents an interesting extension of her oeuvre.
