Antiquity laying on the ground - “Μάρμαρο Κατάχαμα”, 1964 oil on canvas signed and dated ’64 lower left a National Gallery label can be seen on the reverse, along with export stamps from when it was exhibited at Belgrade. 61 x 50 cm 63 x 53 cm (with frame) Provenance directly from the artist’s estate, Greece Exhibited Ulisov Paviljon Na Kalemegdanou with the title “Skulptura na zemiji”, 29 Apr - 5 May 1964, Belgrade, former Yugoslavia. “Polykleitos Rengos” retrospective exhibition at the National Gallery of Greece, 15 Sep – 19 Oct 1980, Athens, Greece. “Polykleitos Rengos” exhibition at the Hellenic Cultural Center, 27 Apr – 25 May 1982, London, UK.
