Dark blue morocco, boards decorated with gilt and cold-stamped lozenges, painted parchment inlaid in the center of the first board, framed by a listel of havana morocco, ornate smooth spine, gilt head, untrimmed, cover and spine preserved (Lehaye). Reprint on "ivorine" paper from the Boucher paper mills of the 1900 edition, illustrated with 48 color compositions by Robert ENGELS (1866-1926). A fine copy in a Lehaye binding, decorated on the first cover with a parchment painting of Tristan and Isolde in profile, signed by the bookbinder. A very well preserved copy.
