First edition of this brochure published in the "Célébrités contemporaines" collection, illustrated with a portrait of Zola engraved by Burney and a folded autograph facsimile outside the text. It is a reprint of an article that appeared in the Revue bleue on March 10, 1883. A very fine, perfectly preserved copy. The facsimile has been transferred to the portrait.
