In-folio, marbled basane, ornate ribbed spine, red morocco title page, red edges (18th century binding). Incomplete atlas featuring a full-page equestrian portrait of Louis XIII, and 42 double-page maps with descriptive text on the recto (out of 50). Regions represented include Normandy, Anjou, Champagne, Duchy of Luxembourg, Limousin, Bordeaux, Périgord, Burgundy, France-Comté, Genevois, Dauphiné and Languedoc. The frontispiece and world map are notably missing. The binding is worn, the title, portrait and one map are detached, and there is minor marginal wetness.
