Of particular interest are: - LOI relieving the Seigneurs Haut-Justiciers of the obligation to feed abandoned children (December 10, 1790). - LOI relative à la vérification des Caisses patriotiques ou de secours (April 1, 1792). - the decree of the National Convention of October 15, 1793 containing measures for the extinction of begging. - LOI relative à l'établissement des prisons & d'une maison de correction dans le département de Seine & Oise (May 13, 1792). - the decree of January 23, 1793, granting three hundred thousand pounds in aid to the town of Thionville following losses inflicted by the invasion or ravaging of the Nation's enemies. - the decree of February 15, 1793, making twelve hundred thousand livres available to the Minister of the Interior for the expenditure of the hospitals of the Enfans-trouvés. - the decree of the National Convention, dated 22nd Floréal year II, ordering the creation of a Livre de la Bienfaisance nationale. Note that 4 of the documents in the set are circulars from the Toulon hospices for the 1830s.
