Fourth state of this interesting carte-à-figures of the American continent, originally based on Ortelius' "Americae sive Orbis novae descriptio" (1570, 1587) and Mercator's world map of 1569. Decorated at the top with 9 town views (a.o. Rio, Havana, Mexico) and 10 costumed figures of different native tribes on the sides.
