[MUSSET, Alfred de] Gamiani ou Deux nuits d'excès. By Alcide, baron de M***. Reprinted in accordance with the original autograph edition. Paris-Bruxelles s.n. [i.e. Paris, Duringe, impr. Renaudie] 1833 [i.e. c. 1906] In-12 (lightly browned). Bradel green half-percaline, spine gilt, burgundy title-piece (slight rippling to percaline, title-piece rubbed and slightly detached). Counterfeit according to Perceau, "partial imitation" according to Pia, of the 1904 Brussels edition, which was "in no way in conformity with the autographed edition of 1833" (Pia 566-567). Title in red and black adorned with a "Scientia Duce" finial reproducing the mark of Isidore Liseux (then deceased for more than 10 years). On verso of title page: "Imprimé à petit nombre" ("Printed in small numbers"). Ex. on laid paper. Ref. Pia 567-568. - Perceau 16-29. - Dutel 359.
