Pale green bradel percaline with corners, marbled paper boards, gilt fleuron and red title-piece on spine, gilt t. (minor detachment at left edge of title-piece, lower corners slightly dulled). Good copy. Edition of 500 copies on hollande, the only paper (num. 273 by hand). Decorated with a bistre-printed title-front on chine, attributed to J.-A. Chauvet. Beautifully printed in an oval frame printed in blue. Curious roman galant (ed. orig.: 1700, under the title "Le prosélite en belle humeur"). Ref. BGL I:4. - Pia 8. - Cp.
