Mercier de Compiègne of this famous treatise (original ed. c. 1639) by physician J.H. Meibom (1590-1655). Ill. with 2 h.t. plates by Texier signed "G. Tex..." including a frontispiece. The 2nd part contains the Latin text with faux-title, title (with publisher's name, absent from the main title) and pagin. proper: "De flagrorum usu in re medica et venerea [...]", preceded by a note in French by the translator.
