[c. 1930] Chromolith, 73 x 100 cm, signed in the plate, 3 tax stamps (tear without lack in the lower left corner, lack of paper affecting the margin in the same corner). Wrapped. Beautiful Art Deco poster with industrial landscape background. A socialist trade-union daily, "Le Peuple" published its first issue on December 13, 1885, and ceased publication definitively in March 1998; many socialist personalities contributed, including Jan Volders, César De Paepe, Auguste De Winne and others. By an apparently little-known artist.

[HENSCHEL (frères): The Imperial and Royal Guards of the French Army. 1810. S.l., s.n., s.d. (1904). One volume. 27 by 40 cm. 12 watercolors (complete), mounted on strong paper. Full red percaline, blue spine and corners, with flaps. Title in gold on the 1st plate, a crown and an N on the side. Minor rubbing to dust jacket. Very few small spots, very light dusting on the left half of the plates (minor defect). Otherwise very good condition. Rare reprint of this series of 12 color plates depicting French troops occupying Berlin, based on the Dresden edition of 1810 (no longer available). The 1810 edition is in a smaller format (in-8), and on poor paper...
