CAPPIELLO, Leonetto Cognac Pellisson. Paris Vercasson & Cie 1907 Chromolith, 120 x 80 cm, signed in the fold (slight creases). Good copy. Child carrying an oversized cognac barrel on his back, against a black background. Striking poster by Italian artist L. Cappiello (1875-1942), naturalized French in 1930; he contributed to a number of illustrated newspapers and produced several posters, often with black backgrounds.
