Upper edge missing. Marginal staining on preface leaves and first 20 leaves, otherwise fair condition. Handsome frontispiece, title vignette, 2 vignettes in the text, 1 full-page with medallion of Louis XIV and 292 engraved medallions. Dutch adaptation of "Médailles sur les principaux évènements du règne de Louis le Grand" (published in Paris in 1702).

Decorative vase "Blühende Rosenzweige", Villeroy & Boch (Edmond Rigot), Wadgassen c. 1921, ,colorless glass, partially green-yellow underlay inside, red-brown overlay outside, circumferential etched decoration of blossoming rose branches, frosted inside and the etched ground outside, etched signature "Vibo" on the wall, cut out demolition, in 1921 Edmond Rigot started to work for the glass factory Wadgassen belonging to Villeroy & Boch, before he signed his own name, he seems to have used the contraction "Vi(lleroy &)bo(ch), h: 30.5 cm.
