Info: German botanist, physician and preacher (probably 1498 Heidelsheim to 1554 Hornbach/Pfalz), studied in Heidelberg, teacher and botanist in Zweibrücken from 1522, met the reformer Johann Schwebel, personal physician to Prince Ludwig from 1532, preacher in Hornbach from 1533, collected and researched medicinal plants while travelling extensively throughout Europe, published the herbal book in 1539, personal physician to Count Philipp II in Saarbrücken from 1550, source: Wikipedia.

Hieronymus VISCHER (Swiss 1564-1630) Project for a stained glass window with temporal power subject to spiritual power. Pen and black ink over black pencil lines. Monogrammed and dated top center 1589. Numerous legends on the motif of the various kings and emperors of the world. Drawing doubled, wetness on the right edge and small marks. 44.1 x 32.3 cm A similar drawing with the same monogram is known from the Kupferstich Kabinett (inv. 1955. 43), (see exhibition Tobias Stimmer, Basel, September 23, 1984 - December 9, 1984, no. 343, repr., p. 496).
