dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Europa, Hemispherical, iron skull with embossed grooves, with button featuring rayed base at the top, large pointed visor with hemmed edge and sliding nose-piece with wing screw, three-plate nape-guard, three-plate movable cheek-piece with pierced rosette. Plume holder. A beautiful, 19th century execution, faithfully replicating every detail of its 17th century model.
