Description
A hussar's sabre dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: Francia, Wide, curve, single-and false-edged blade with wide central fuller and dorsal groove. Brass one-quillon hilt with langets, grooved and ribbed loop-guard and pommel, long and smooth cap. Wooden handle covered with leather featuring metal wire binding. Leather-covered wooden scabbard (of later restoration) with brass mounts and two suspension rings.
