A cased Adams percussion revolver by Charles Ingram

dating: about 1855 provenance: Glasgow, Rifled, octagonal, 11 mm cal. barrel with mark of the London test bench and "LAC" mark. Smooth, five-shot cylinder, with marks of the test bench and serial number "35236R". Frame marked "B19487", "ADAMS' PATENT 35236R", mark "LAC" and with dedication "To G. G. F. FROM J. K. JUNE 1862". The upper frame marked "CHA.S INGRAM GUN MAKER GLASGOW", the base of the upper frame with sight. Safety lock. 90% of browning with small rust damage. Checkered, wooden butt. Kept in a leather case lined with burgundy velvet and featuring various tools, the bullet mold marked "LAC 54". Missing key.
