A fine pair of cased percussion target pistols by Kamolz

dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Magdeburg, Fine, octagonal, rifled, browned, 11 mm cal barrels signed "KAMOLZ IN MAGDEBURG" among gold-inlaid curls, the base engraved with floral motifs and with silver frame, precision sight; long tangs finely engraved with floral motifs and provided with adjustable rear sight. Forward spring locks with safety lock and decorated with fine floral engravings on a dark, granulated and partially gilded background. Full wooden stocks with grooved butts, fore-end caps made of polished deer horn. Steel mounts decorated with floral motifs, trigger guard with finger rest, trigger with set trigger. Brass-tipped, iron ramrods. In a leather case provided with bullet mold and cartridge extractor.
