A pair of percussion target pistols
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Belgio, Rifled, octagonal, 12 mm cal. barrels (clean bores, visible rifling), with mark of the Liège test bench, engraved bases and foresight; engraved tangs with rear sight. Forward spring locks engraved with rocaille and floral motifs. Wooden stocks with fore-end caps carved with floral motifs in bas-relief, grooved butts. Iron mounts decorated en suite. Trigger guards with finger support. Set trigger. Originally cased, without ramrod. The cock wedge needs revision.
