A pair of percussion pistols
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Europa, Rifled, 13.5 mm cal barrels (clean bores, clearly visible rifling), browning with damascus pattern, engraved at the ends, with front sight; engraved tangs; backwards spring locks decorated en suite. Half wooden stocks with fore-end caps sculpted with floral motifs and grooved butts. Iron mounts decorated en suite, trigger guards with finger support. Originally designed for a cased set, therefore without ramrod.
