A pair of cased percussion pocket pistols
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Francia, Round, smoothbore, turn-off, 10 mm cal barrels, the bases marked "278". Box-lock frames engraved with floral motifs, off-centre hammers and foresight. Foldaway triggers. Wooden butts with grooves following the curvature. Slightly pronounced and faceted butt-plates. In a wooden case lined with red velvet, two tools and lock key.
