A pair of pistols by Minelli, converted to percussion dating: late 18th Century provenance: Brescia, Smoothbore, two-stage, 14 mm cal. barrels, at the first part octagonal featuring the mark "iDM" brass-inlaid under two marks shaped as a half-moon, two rings at the girdle, then round. Lock converted to percussion signed "MINELLI". Wooden full stock with beautiful brass mounts partially engraved and pierced, the counterplates decorated with dragons' heads and floral motifs in low relief. Working mechanism. One of the two ramrods is incomplete.
