A double-barreled center-fire shotgun by J. Blanch & Son dating: provenance: Londra, Round, smoothbore, rw-browned, 16 gauge barrels (clean bores, small areas of pitting), the rib signed "J BLANCH & SON 29 GRACECHURCH STREET LONDON", engraved at base and with foresight. Tang finely engraved with floral motifs; forward spring locks signed "J. BLANCH & SON" with safety lock and decorated en suite with the mounts. Briarwood butt and fore-end with knurled palm rest and handle. Lower lever. Serial number "46xx". Good quality.
