A T.R.T. Gooch double-barreled pin-fire shotgun
dating: 1860-70 provenance: Regno Unito, Round barrels, finishing with damascus pattern (probably refreshed), central rib with signature "GOOCH MAKER HERTFORD". Small, 16 mm caliber at the nozzle, probably 20 gauge. Bore in good condition with small signs of use. Marks of the London test bench. Receiver engraved with racemes and hounds. Backward spring locks engraved with racemes and signed "T.R.T. GOOCH HERTFORD". Wooden butt and fore-end with checkered segments. Butt plate partially made of iron, with pitting. Trigger guard and opening lever with remains of browning. Well working mechanism.
