A hunting hanger

dating: late 18th Century provenance: Presburgo, Slightly curved, single-and false-edged blade, the base engraved with a figure under the inscription "PANDUR", the back featuring the mark of a manufacturer from Presburg (partly legible). Brass mounts, the shell-guard shaped as a grouse, wooden grips (missing) parts with brass ring nut and rivets. Remains of the leather scabbard with brass cap, missing chape.

Hunting knife, slightly curved blade, 53 cm, engraved on the heel with scrolls and in the throat with hunting animals, pointed counter-edge, brass cruise with two octagonal quillons, andouiller handle, ball pommel on brass plate, pommel missing, SF, LT 67 cm, late 18th century.

A western European palstave axe, Late Bronze Age, 13th century B.C. Slightly inwardly curved neck. Narrow butt with upper, slightly inwardly curved ridges, already merging into lobes. Flaring out at the transition to the blade, with a central heel curving towards the blade. The blade trapezoidal, widening towards the slightly curved edge. Minimal nicks on the edge of the blade and the rims, otherwise very well preserved and intact. Dark green patina with light incrustations. Length 16.8 cm Provenance: From an old Belgian private collection, acquired in the Belgian art trade in the 1980s. Condition: II
