An 1879 model Reichsrevolver

dating: about 1880 provenance: Germania, Round, rifled barrel (bore needs cleaning, visible rifling) with octagonal base, provided with foresight, marked "10.55" (calibre). Grooved, six-shot cylinder. Frame with safety lock, marked "S. & S. V.C.H SUHL". Smooth wooden grips, ring for the strap. Working mechanism. Various marks in the lower part, the cup marked "r.A.M.23.17". Probably browned later. Serial number "36xx" matching on barrel, frame and cylinder.
