An 1860 Model percussion rifle with bayonet

dating: 1862 provenance: Torino, Round, rifled, 18 mm cal. barrel (bore with slight pitting, clearly visible rifling) with octagonal breech marked "GP 186..", with foldaway rear sight, clutch for the bayonet and foresight. Tang with rear sight. Percussion, forward spring lock marked "TORINO / 1862". Wooden, full stock with factory stamp of Torino 1862. On the left side of the side is mounted, in recent times, a shield with the inscription "FUCILE DA FANTERIA Mod. 1860 con alzo TORINO 1862". Iron mounts and ramrod. White leather strap from modern times. Complete with its 47.5 cm bayonet.
