Description
An 1854/II model Lorenz infantry percussion rifle with bayonet
dating: 1858 provenance: Austria, Round, rifled, 13.9 mm cal barrel (clean bore, visible rifling), with octagonal base marked with a letter (not legible) under an imperial mark, "5.11 62." and with other markings on the left side, foldaway rear sight and front sight. Forward spring lock dated "858" and with imperial mark. Wooden full stock (small damaged parts) with iron mounts, ramrod and socket bayonet.
