A percussion gun converted from Augustin system with bayonet

dating: 1844 provenance: Austria, Smoothbore, round, 18 mm cal. barrel, marked at the base "R" under crown, "20" and with mark of the Liège test bench, foresight and clutch for the bayonet. Tang marked "183 4C A71" and with rear sight. Forward spring lock dated "844", marked "A71" and with imperial mark. Wooden, full stock, numbered butt. Iron mounts, trigger guard marked "A71" and with a mark. Iron ramrod and bayonet.
