An 1842 Augustin system model jagerstutzen, with bayonet

dating: 1847 provenance: Austria, Octagonal, rifled, 14 mm cal barrel (bore with strong pitting, visible rifling), with cylindrical nozzle, marked "J.R", "A", "V" and "S" under crown, provided with two-high sight with foldaway sight leaf, clutch for the bayonet; remains of browning. Tang marked "175", "11" and with another non-legible number. Lock with Augustin system dated "847" and with imperial mark; full wooden stock (very few woodworm holes) with marks "EF", "N", "0236F" and "CT". Brass mounts, stock with patchbox. Working mechanism. Complete with socket bayonet featuring marked handle. Rare.

A German flintlock rifle, circa 1760 Rifled octagonal barrel in 14 mm caliber with a rough bore, silver-inlaid scrollwork at the muzzle and over the breech, gold-filled mark and signature "Jo Andre Kuchenreiter" on the top, the firing hole closed. Smooth flintlock. Reworked full stock with replacements and recut intersections as well as patchbox. Modern brass furniture. Wooden ramrod with brass tip. Iron parts slightly pitted and patinated.
