A fine court small sword

dating: circa 1800 provenance: Inghilterra, Straight, double-edged blade of hexagonal section, the base engraved and gilded with floral and geometric motifs with motto "Honi soit chi mal y pense". Strong, steel hilt with pierced oval valve, quillon and pommel decorated with steel beads, grip decorated with lozenge motifs and complete with chain.

In a brocade-embroidered scabbard with fine silver mountings (restored in situ, one small defect). Length approx. 39.5 cm. Condition: II -

A silver damascened Indian tulwar, circa 1800 Curved single-edged blade with a double-edged point and narrow fullers on both sides (cleaned, fine pitting in places). Typical iron hilt with elaborate floral decoration inlaid in silver. Wooden scabbard covered with purple velvet (partially rubbed), richly embossed and engraved silver mountings. Length 90 cm. Condition: II

A sword with eagle's head pommel, 18th century Sturdy, straight single-edged blade (pitted, unmarked) with a double-edged central point. Heavy, gilt non-ferrous metal hilt (rubbed) with eagle's head pommel, oval guard plate and eagle's heads cast as quillons, the blackened grip with double brass wire winding. Slightly damaged, signs of age. Length 85 cm. Condition: II - III
