A pata
dating: early 18th Century provenance: India, Long, flat, double-edged blade with very short fuller at the base. Iron handle with dark patina, richly pierced and engraved with floral motifs. Raised and engraved border. On the rear part is still visible the crossed-bar handle (once probably covered with wood) and a support ring-nut. In patina. Needs cleaning.
