A rare medal of the Garibaldi's "Mille"

dating: Second half of the 19th Century provenance: Palermo, Made of silver. The front side with the Palermitan eagle holding the cartouche 'S.P.Q.P.' and surrounded by the motto 'AI PRODI CUI FU DUCE GARIBALDI' ending on the cartouche. The reverse with the writing "IL MUNICIPIO PALERMITANO RIVENDICATO" within a wreath and "MARSALA CALATAFIMI PALERMO" beside the border. With a thin yellow-red ribbon. Some sighs of use and time. Probably an antique casting ordered by the owner of the original unit. First minting type. Together with a (coeval?) mignon.
