An Uhlan reservist officer's tschapka

dating: circa 1900 provenance: Sassonia, Blackened leather body and visor. The front part featuring the badge of the gilded Rue Crown on a silver reservist's cross and a golden star. Convex chin-straps, officer's cockades. Complete with the rare silver-threads cord featuring green piping, both tassels are still present. Leather sweat band inside and silk cap. Rare.
