An 1884 model breechloading Springfield Trapdoor rifle

dating: 1886 - 1889 provenance: USA, Round, rifled, 11 mm cal barrel (clean bore, clearly visible rifling), marked with eagle's head and marks "V", "P" and "A" at the base, provided with precision rear sight and foresight. Bolt marked "US MODEL 1884"; tang with serial number "363xxx". Lock marked "U S. SPRINGFIELD" with eagle. Wooden full stock (small defects), and with iron mounts and ramrod.
