A Kerr percussion revolver by the London Armoury Company
dating: 1860-70 provenance: Londra, Rifled, faceted, 36 cal barrel (some pitting inside, visible rifling), with white metal cusped front sight, remains of the "LONDON" marking on the back. Five-shot cylinder with marks of the London test bench. Mechanism working in single action. Frame with remains of 'KERR'S PATENT' marking and remains of numbering (possibly 203?), 'LONDON' stamp and remains of engraving. Backwards spring lock with marking "LONDON ARMOURY CO." Pitting. Knurled wooden handle.
