Description
A cased Pocket Navy percussion revolver
dating: Second half of the 19th Century provenance: Belgio, Octagonal, rifled, 31 cal. barrel with brass foresight, with (spurious) mark "ADDRESS SAM.L COLT / NEW-YORK CITY". Smooth, five-shot cylinder with engraving and "PATENT". Brass grip straps. Remains of beautiful silver finishing. Trigger guard with "CAL 31". Kept in a box with brass flask, bullet mold for 31 cal. and a small cardboard box for caps. Complete with key. Revolver of typical spurious production, probably Belgian. Well made.
