Fredendall is attached. Fredendall. and 2 photos of him as Major General. BE Lloyd FREDENDALL (1883-1963) Lieutenant-General best known for his role as commander of US troops at the Battle of Kasserine Pass in Tunisia in February 1943, a bloody defeat in which the Americans lost 6,300 men, including 3,000 prisoners. He was replaced by the famous General Patton and sent back to the USA.
