Three German shooting targets, 1st half of the 20th century Three round, polychrome painted and fired shooting targets. Two examples are painted with magnificent coats of arms, the lower edge of one target with a Bavarian coat of arms inscribed with the motto "Hatz und Gejaid ist edel Freud". On the third disc, peasants in an inn are enjoying an evening dance. Good condition, occasional small chips. Diameter approx. 50, 58 and 60 cm. Condition: II

Two Hanoverian shooting targets, one dated 1927 Round softwood targets with polychrome frames in oil paint. One target depicting a scene with a rider next to a carriage on a palm tree promenade painted in fine perspective, framed by a finely detailed flower tendril, in the upper half the inscription "Gegeben von Assistenzarzt Dr. Rorbacher". Diameter 33 cm. Another target with a depiction of two wild boars in a winter forest, inscribed in the picture "Gestiftet von H. Behre". The inscription reads "Schießsport - Klub - Hannover - gegr. 1925 Zum Abschiessen 1927 gestiftet von O.H. Bonitz/Erschiessen von H. Behre 1927". Diameter 50 cm. Color mounts somewhat bumped, one target with stress cracks. Condition: II -

Two Bavarian shooting targets, dated 1927 and 1929 Round targets made of softwood with polychrome frames in oil paint. One target with depictions of Bavarian soldiers in 19th century uniforms against the backdrop of Bavaria, the upper half with the inscription "Ehrenscheibe, gestiftet v.d. Ver. ehem. Ang. d. K. B. Res. I. R. 16 (List)". Diameter 35 cm. Another disk with a central humorous depiction of a tavern scene and the comment "This is the beginning of the end!" as well as the date "22.12.27", the inscription in beautiful Fraktur reads "Zum 40jährig. Founding anniversary Gew. v. H. Dr. O. Ziegler". Diameter 44 cm. Color mounts somewhat rubbed and bumped, one disc with stress cracks. Condition: II -

Two Bavarian shooting targets, dated 1928 and 1932 Round targets made of softwood or plywood with polychrome frames in oil paint. One (unfired) target depicting a Landsknecht with a Bavarian flag against a landscape backdrop with the inscription "Landessschießen 1928 der bayr. Wehrgemeinschaft Gegeben vom Führer Exzellenz von Stetten". Diameter 50 cm. Another disk with two dancing hobos accompanied by a third on the harmonica. Signed at bottom left "H. Spörl 1932". The inscription reads "Gest. v. Gend. Hauptw. Karl Frisch, Naila Gesch. v. Gend. Kommissär Trampler, Bernstein a/W." Diameter 53 cm. Condition: II -
